BS2039 Class 1 Rope-Operated ladders for the toughest jobs in the harshest environments.
  • When you need them really tough & really tall these are the beasts!!  Max safe load 175kg ( 27.5stones).
  • Super-strong side stiles give ample load support and rope operation takes the strain out of extension & lowering.
  • These Class 1 Rope-Operated models have fully interlocking side stiles and swinging gravity latches. For extra ease of use and safety they are fitted with wall runner wheels at the top and large swivelling non-slip rubber feet at the base.
  • The largest rope-operated models are fitted with nylon rollers to decrease friction during extension, making this much easier and smoother than with many other makes of ladder.
  • Available in 2 and 3 section ladders which are kitemarked to BS2037 Class 1 for Industrial Duty.  Note that the following three very long ladders are "made to" Class 1 but not kitemarked  - HD270, HT355, HT360.
  • Note also that these Rope-Operated ladders weighing over about 35kg are too heavy for use by one person alone and will normally require two people to carry and manoeuvre them.
