These Heavy Duty "Class 1 Industrial" ladders are designed for years of rigorous service.  All are made to the strongest Industrial Duty BS2307 Class 1 with a Maximum Safe Load 175kg ( 27.5stones ).   Duty rating 130kg (20.5stones).    Two of our ranges - GS range and RGS range are fully tested and BSI kitemarked whereas our CLS range is "made to" Class 1 but is not kitemarked.

Side stiles are of box-section alloy which is graded in size according to the ladder length.  Solid moulded rubber bungs fitted at top and bottom.

• Our CLS range has 25mm diameter alloy Round Rungs which are heavily ribbed for non-slip safety.  These ladders are industrial duty but not kitemarked and represent an economical solution to many access problems.  These are suitable for all uses whether used vertically or at any other angle because footing angles remain the same in all cases.  Overall width 330mm. Rung Spacing 250mm.
• Our GS range has angled Flat-Top D-shaped alloy rungs which are heavily ribbed for non-slip safety and are angled so that feet rest on wide surface during ascent & descent.  Kitemarked to Class 1  BS2037.  These are most suitable for general use where used leaning at an angle.  They are NOT very suitable for vertical or shallow angle applications which might result in unsafe footing angles.  Overall width 375mm. Rung Spacing 250mm.
• Our RGS range has 25mm diameter alloy Round Rungs which are heavily ribbed for non-slip safety.  Kitemarked to Class 1  BS2037.  These are suitable for all uses whether used vertically or at any other angle because footing angles remain the same in all cases.  Overall width 325mm. Rung Spacing 250mm.
