Modular compact 'SpaceSaver' Open Staircase.
Pine, Beech, Ash or Oak treads and handrail enhance its dramatic appeal.
  • The Berlin is certainly a staircase of exceptionally high quality and dramatic style. Its classic Danish design makes it more a piece of sculpture than a functional staircase!
  • Brilliantly clever central supports allow it to be fitted as a straight stair or curved to almost any angle to suit your own location and visual preference. Amazing versatility!
  • Alternating "Space saver" tread design still allows for steps to be reversed so that the handrail can be fitted to the right or left hand side.
  • Can be installed for access to mezzanine floors and up to vertical openings in a wall. Also suitable for overhead ceiling openings with minimum dimensions 130cm long x 70cm wide for an 11 tread stair.
  • Superb choice of finest timber treads and matching handrail - select your favourite from Pine, Beech, Ash or Oak. All treads and handrails are supplied unvarnished but this finish can be chosen as a cost option - see price list below. Treads are all 640mm wide and 40mm thick.
  • Steel components are epoxy-powder coated in a tough, modern and attractive Silver Grey (RAL9006) as standard. Any other RAL colour is available for an extra charge of 20% and an extra 3 weeks delivery.
  • Optional Top Landing Balustrade can be added to protect open areas of mezzanine floor in the same design and materials as the Berlin staircase handrail.
  • Each Berlin staircase comes with fully illustrated instructions showing step-by-step assembly right through to completion of installation.
  • Minimum size overhead opening 130 x 70cm (for 11 tread stair). Floorplan area (footprint) of 11tr model - 154cm long x 64cm wide overall.

  • Delivery FREE UK mainland in 6 - 8 weeks.   Complete staircase delivered in a single palletised carton.   When components are ordered without a staircase delivery is charged extra and is more than standard so please ring for quote.
