Extra comfort is provided by the larger platform tread. Otherwise another great Highgrove Tripod Ladder.
  • Platform models have one much deeper tread than the others which is 180mm / 7" deep for greater comfort.  Also feature a handrail at the top to lean onto, which is 0.90m / 3' above the platform tread.
  • Platform models are well suited to the more cautious gardeners who have a roughly fixed height to work at. 
  • Lightweight alloy construction for home use as well as professional growers and groundsmen.
  • Allows easier & safer "face-on" working close to hedges, bushes and trees with rear spiked support positioned into them. A much safer method of working than placing normal stepladders alongside.
  • Hugely wide base and 3-legged design makes tripods really stable in use.
  • All joints fully welded and fitted with 4” / 100mm deep "double-rung" treads.
  • Clawed alloy feet 4"/100mm diameter give excellent grip on soft ground
  • Optional rubber feet for firm ground push-fit over the clawed feet & are available as an extra if required.
  • Adjustable height single rear leg is hinged at the top.  Can be adjusted in 6"/150mm intervals for levelling with min & max extension of 50mm - 310mm. Simple drop-nose pin on a captive chain locks leg in place for easy adjustment in seconds.  No tools required.
  • Safe working load 100kg / 15.8stones (test loaded to 200kg).
