"CLAMCLEAT®" & ROPE LASHING

  • A very effective and safe method of securing the top of a ladder. Tie without knots!
  • Consists of a 6ft length of rope attached to an upper ladder rung, with a Clamcleat® bolted to the opposite stile.
  • When the ladder is in the working position the rope is looped around or through a rigid structure and pulled into the cleat. Clamcleat teeth hold it securely until the rope is pulled out with a simple tug. No knots need to be tied.
  • This fixing is specified by BT for all their ladders because of its easy use and safety.
  • Can be fitted to any ladder.

  • Strong alloy hooks with 1" or 2" internal diameter.
  • Can be bolted to the top of a ladder to add security when resting on bars or storage racking.
  • Supplied without fixings.
  • Optional Shelf Ladder Rail can be screwed or bolted to a wall to support the hooks in the required location.  Rail length 425mm ; overall length incl fixing brackets 510mm.
