• Our best selling and most popular alloy loft ladder.
• Heavy duty construction & industrial duty.  Kitemarked to BS7553:1992 Class H : Heavy Use with a max safe load of 150kg (23.5 stones).

• An industrial duty sliding alloy loft ladder with two sections which is equally suitable for the office or the home.

• Spring counterbalanced action on nylon slides for smooth, silent, effortless operation. Ladder raises and lowers with the trapdoor.

• Pivot arms and heavy duty springs attach to loft floor. Ladder also attaches to hatch edge and upper face of trap door.

• Extra-wide non-slip alloy treads are 3 ¼” (83mm) deep and heavily ribbed.

• Two large handrails are fitted full length for maximum comfort and safety.

• Ideal for domestic use where a very safe and sturdy ladder is required and highly suitable for many commercial applications.

• Very popular with the elderly and others who need effortless operation, a rigid ladder and the safety of double handrails and wide treads.

• Packed size 7' 2" x 1' 5" x 10".  Fixings and trap hinges included (not trapdoor).

• Very similar in design and operation to the "Industrial De-Luxe Stairway".

• Extra- wide comfortable treads and spring counterbalanced as above but without the smooth nylon slides.

• Although the "Industrial De-Luxe Stairway" (YDLX) above is generally better value for money, some of these "AL" sizes will fit where the YDLX won't fit. Note the smaller Loft Clearance Arc dimensions with AL1, AL2 and AL3 (though trapdoor sizes are larger than YDLX).

• Large single handrail supplied with option for a second.

• Two sizes AL4 and AL5 are suitable for unusually tall rooms.

• AL5 can be factory modified to fit up to 12' 6" / 3.88m Floor-to-Floor height. Please state clearly at time of order if this is required and add £25.00 (£29.38 incl vat).

• Simply BRILLIANT loft ladders!  A purchase you will never regret.

• Very NEW and the world's first truly TELESCOPIC loft ladders, which are beautifully crafted and finished with a smooth anodised coating for "clean-hands" operation.

• IDEAL WHERE LOFT SPACE IS LIMITED - Adjustable Height models requires no clearance arc in loft behind trapdoor at all.  Compact-Spring models requires only 7" (180mm) of clearance arc behind the trapdoor so will fit the vast majority of lofts.

• All are supported on a spring counterbalanced frame when stowed away.

• Large alloy treads are a comfortable 3½" ( 90mm ) deep with heavily ribbed non-slip surface.

• Simple to operate - open the hatch, pull down the spring-counterbalanced support frame with integral strap, and pull down the ladder.

• Beautifully finished with a smooth anodised coating.

• Supplied fully assembled and very simple to install.  Just screw metal bracket to joist above trapdoor hinges. Adjustable Height models - metal bracket dimensions 450 x 210mm W x H (only 120mm high across most of bracket).

• Compact-Spring model has metal bracket dimensions 440 x 160mm W x H but is only 90mm high across most of the width, allowing it to be secured easily even to small modern joists.

• Adjustable Height models require no clearance behind so can also be fitted to a vertical wall, with or without a trapdoor. 

• Supplied with trapdoor hinges and catch  ( trapdoor not supplied ).

• Packed size -  32 " or 42 " x 21 " x 6 "

• IDEAL WHERE LOFT SPACE IS LIMITED - requires no clearance arc in loft behind trapdoor.

• Supported on a spring counterbalanced frame when stowed away.

• Easy to operate - rotate spring counterbalanced frame, lift ladder off frame and support as it extends to floor.

• Much more robust and rigid than it looks!

• Supplied fully assembled and very simple to install.  Just screw timber back-board to joist above trapdoor hinges. Timber back-board dimensions 450 x 200mm W x H.

• Can also be fitted to a vertical wall, with or without a trapdoor.  A 30mm thick stand-off block should be fixed behind the back-board to enable rotation into stored position when mounted on a wall.

• Large alloy treads are 3" ( 80mm ) deep with heavily ribbed non-slip surface.

• Supplied with trapdoor hinges, trapdoor catch and operating pole hook ( trapdoor not supplied).

Need a shorter Alufix Concertina loft ladder?  The 10 tread model TALU10 can be easily converted into a 9 tread to fit ceiling heights 6' 11" - 7' 8" / 2.10 - 2.34m.  Simply undo 8 nuts, remove one tread and re-bolt.  Tread can be removed by customers or by Lansford on request - at no extra charge.

• Unlike the "Alufix", the springs on the Model FS control the entire lowering and raising process making it safer and completely effortless.  No manual support is necessary.

• Supplied fully assembled and very easy to install.  Just screw backboard to vertical face of joist above trapdoor hinges.  Timber back-board dimensions 330 x 120mm W x H. 

• Can also be fitted to a vertical wall, with or without a trapdoor.  An 80mm thick stand-off block should be fixed behind the backboard to enable rotation into stored position when mounted on a wall.

• Large alloy treads are 3" ( 80mm ) deep with heavily ribbed non-slip surface.
