UNIVERSAL MAXI L
STAIRS
Modular open staircase with full treads and 90degree turn.
Varnished solid Beech timber treads and handrail enhance its beauty.

   

  • Universal MAXI L is  a full-tread staircase of a modular design with modern, light grey steel supports and varnished Beech treads, creating a stair of real class.

  •  Available in two overall widths - 75cm and 94 cm and designed primarily for fitting against a wall.
     

  • A full banister on one side (option for both sides) is topped with a beautiful solid Beech timber handrail 50mm diameter.

  • MAXI " L " incorporates one 90degree (quarter) turn to give an " L" shape in plan view.

  • Standard staircase comprises twelve treads with timber handrail. This will suit floor to floor heights up to 306.5cm ( 10' 0" ).

  • Additional steps with a handrail available to a maximum floor height of 378.5cm ( 11' 10" ) - fifteen steps.

  • Beautifully finished solid beech treads are 40mm / 1.5" thick.

  • Each staircase comes with fully illustrated instructions and free CD showing step-by-step assembly right through to completion of installation.

Varnished solid Beech timber treads

COMPLIANCE WITH UK BUILDING REGULATIONS - Universal Maxi 75 is not acceptable as a single MAIN staircase but does comply with regulations provided it is used as a secondary staircase or for access to a mezzanine floor or single room + bathroom and/or WC.   It is important, before specifying or ordering a particular model, to check its suitability for your project with your local Building Control Department.
