Wider treads (700mm wide) for greater safety & comfort when carrying bulky goods.
  • High quality Industrial Safety Steps manufactured in the UK from 25mm diameter tubular steel, with punched steel treads. 
  • WIDE TREAD models give added comfort and safety for carrying larger items when used for access in storage areas.
  • Safe working load is a huge 300kg ( 47stones! ) and manufacture is conducted in an ISO9001 registered facility.   Fully welded and assembled for instant use.
  • Coated in a very tough and attractive deep Red polyester-powder finish for long-lasting protection. Standard colour deep Red or can be deep Blue on request. Other colours at extra cost.
  • New Polyester-powder coating is vastly superior to epoxy finishes. It is tougher and more durable plus UV stabilisers make it much more suitable for exterior use than most epoxy coats.
  • Punched steel treads are 200mm / 8" deep and fitted at 250mm rise with handrails both sides.    Stair & tread width 700mm / 28".
  • Large platform 400 x 700mm / 16” x 28" is surrounded by a 1.0m / 3ft high handrail on three sides plus half-height midrail.   Toeplates fitted around 3 sides of platform on all models.
  • Rubber tyred wheels fitted at the rear with swivelling castors at the front for easy manoeuvring.
  • Braked by the yellow Anti-Ascent Safety Bar which blocks access to treads whilst mobile but retracts to allow safe access and brake the steps.   Small 3 tread steps have a Side Lever instead of the central safety bar.
  • Many variations to the standard range are available, including PVC covered treads, single-sided handrails; alternative tread width; hinged gates at platform; side operating lever etc. Please enquire for details.
