• WONDERFUL STEPS - EVERY SHOP, OFFICE & HOTEL SHOULD HAVE SOME!!
  
• Lightweight alloy construction with strong box-section side stiles and an EASY FOLDING action - opened and closed by simply rotating the top tread only.
  
• HUGE TREADS measuring 360 x 230mm ( 14" x 9" ) are non-slip  covered  and at a comfortable inclination of 47° - not a steep ladder, more like a gentle staircase.
  
• All alloy parts have an ANODISED FINISH which keeps the ladder clean, keeps the user's hands clean and makes cleaning of the surface easier. Permits the ladder to be used in food and drug industry, and in sectors with high cleaning standards.
  
• Very COMPACT CLOSED SIZE for easy storage and transport - rotating treads means King Steps close to an overall thickness of only 80mm ( 3" )!
  
• Fitted with 800mm ( 2' 7" ) high front safety rail.
  
• This long list of comfort and safety features make King Steps IDEAL for use in OFFICES, FACTORIES, STORE-ROOMS, SHOPS, food & drug industries, catering and hospitals etc etc.  Also excellent as low-level "hop-ups" for painters, builders and electricians.

"STARLIGHT" ROPE-OPERATED
ALLOY LADDERS
NF and GS approved to EN131    max safe load 150kg ( 26.5stones )

• Sturdy box-section  LIGHT DUTY Rope-Operated ladders which are imported from France.
  
• Although approved to EN131 ( Trade Duty ) these are actually lighter duty than our standard Trade Alloy Ladders and are closer to UK Domestic Duty.
  
• An excellent choice for DIY users who require the ease of extension that Rope Operation provides. 
  
• Note that because these are European made the rungs are square, not flat-top "D" Rungs.
  
• Note also that in common with most Continental designs, the single rope is located in the middle of the ladder, not on the side stiles,  and these ladders are positioned with the top sliding section closest to the wall, rather than away from the wall!  All rather different from the normal UK design but in many ways it works better.
