MEDIUM treads Need a Modifications ring |
- High quality Safety Steps manufactured in the UK from tubular steel, with punched steel treads ( PVC covered treads available as a cost option - see below).
- Coated in a tough and attractive blue epoxy-powder finish for long-lasting protection (models with 12treads and above have traditional wet spray paint finish).
- Steel treads are 190mm / 7.5" deep and fitted at 250mm rise.
- Large platform 15” / 380mm deep is surrounded by a 3ft / 900mm high handrail on three sides plus half-height midrail. Toeplates fitted around platform on models with platform height over 2.0m.
- Rubber tyred wheels fitted at the front with swivelling castors at the rear for easy manoeuvring.
- 2 - 6 tread models have 2 spring-loaded castors at rear for instant braking when weight is applied. ( No cost option for yellow Ascent Safety Bar as in photo above - please advise when ordering if preferred ).
- 7 - 15 tread models are braked by the integral Ascent Safety Bar. This blocks access to stairs whilst mobile. When pushed back, the castors are automatically raised to stabilise the stair and allow access to the platform.
- Many variations to the standard range are available, including single-sided handrails; alternative tread widths; hinged gate at platform; side operating lever etc. Please enquire for details.
- Ideal for the office, maintenance in the workshop and access in storage areas.
- Fully welded and assembled for instant use. Can also be supplied in "Knock-Down" form for ease of transport and for access into awkward areas on site. Assembly then requires spanners and takes around 15 minutes if supplied "Knock-Down".

- Ideal for the office, shop, library and safe access in storage areas.

- High quality and very sturdy Safety Stairs manufactured in the UK from heavy grade tubular steel with punched steel treads.
- Extremely safe, stable and robust in use.
- Very deep 200mm / 8" treads and lower angle of rake ( 55 degrees ) allows outward facing descent just as on a staircase - greater safety!
- Ideal for maintenance work and access in storage areas.
- Treads of robust punched steel are 8” / 200mm deep for security and comfort ( non-slip PVC covered treads are available as a cost option - see below).
- Large platform 16” / 400mm deep is surrounded by a 3ft / 900mm high handrail on three sides plus half-height midrail. Toeplates fitted around platform on models with platform height over 2.0m.
- Rubber tyred wheels fitted at the front with swivelling castors at the rear for easy manoeuvring.
- Braked by the bright yellow integral Ascent Safety Bar. This blocks access to stairs whilst mobile. When pushed back, the castors are automatically raised from the ground to stabilise the stair and allow access to the platform.
