KEY FEATURES -
-  standard steel tube & treads  -  tread depth 190mm -  top platform depth 380mm -  tread width 550mm -  60 degree angle of steps allows descent facing outwards (not as comfortable as Heavy Duty) -  safe working load 150kg	-  heavy duty steel tube & treads  -  tread depth 200mm -  top platform depth 400mm -  tread widths 500mm or 700mm  -  easier 55 degree angle of stairs gives more comfortable descent facing outwards -  safe working load 150kg
Ascent Safety Bar prevents access to stairs whilst mobile & pushes under treads when static for use.  Fitted to all Heavy-Duty models and Medium Duty models with 7 -15 treads
Easy angle of treads (60°) on Heavy Duty models especially,  gives comfortable descent facing outwards - just like a normal staircase.
These stairs are UK manufactured to the highest quality  and many variations to the standard ranges are available including -           - PVC covered treads - side operated lever (handbrake on RH side)  - single-sided handrails       - alternative tread widths         - alternative platform depths - hinged gate at platform - chain at platform         - alternative paint colours etc - Hot-Dipped Galvanised finish (H.Duty only) Please see below for details.

"NARROW AISLE" version of Medium Duty mobile safety steps are ideal in confined spaces. Overall widths are reduced to just 500mm (2 - 4 tread high models)  or just 630mm ( 5 and 6 tread high models).  More information....

MOBILE SAFETY STAIRS - HINGED GATE examples
Small 3 tread Heavy Duty model with Hinged Gate at Front. Hinge mechanism allows gate to swing outwards and inwards. Securely held closed / open by resting in cups or on hooks.
Large Heavy Duty model with Hot-Dipped Galvanised finish, 800mm deep platform and  Hinged Gate at Left. Hinge mechanism allows gate to swing outwards and inwards. Securely held closed / open by resting in cups.
