Shallowest rake angle of just 48 degrees & reduced tread-tread rise of just 230mm gives maximum ease of descent - just like outward facing descent on a normal staircase & great when carrying boxes.
  • Constructed from the same materials as the standard Heavy Duty models but with two important differences -
  •  an even shallower rake angle of just 48 degrees
  • a tread-to-tread height of just 230mm.
  • These special features make ascent and descent even easier and safer - just like a staircase.
  •  Ideal where safety is paramount and space for manoevring  is plentiful.
  • Large punched steel treads 700mm wide x 200mm deep.
  • Large platform 400mm deep x 700mm wide is surrounded by a 3ft / 900mm high handrail on three sides plus half-height midrail.   Toeplates fitted around platform on models with platform height over 2.0m.
  • Safe Working Load 250kg  with 12 months parts guarantee and 24 months structural guarantee.
  • Braked by the bright yellow integral Ascent Safety Bar. This blocks access to stairs whilst mobile. When pushed back, the castors are automatically raised from the ground to stabilise the stair and allow access to the platform.
  • Rubber tyred wheels fitted at the front with swivelling castors at the rear for easy manoeuvring.
  • Coated in a tough and attractive red epoxy-powder finish for long-lasting protection.  Hot-Dipped Galvanised finish for outdoor applications is available as a cost option - please ask.
  • Many options to the standard range are available, including single-sided handrails, other tread widths, other platform depths, hinged gates or rails at platform; side operating lever, knock-down form for on-site final assembly, hot-dipped galvanised finish for maximum protection outdoors  etc.  Please ring us as below to discuss your requirements.
