The Zarges combination ladder range provides several professional access solutions from one highly versatile aluminium ladder. Available in a choice of sizes and specifications, including the popular Skymaster X-Trade and upgraded Skymaster Plus X.

Depending on the model selected, one Zarges combination ladder can be configured as a triple extension ladder, double extension ladder, single-section ladder, two or three-section freestanding stepladder, or stairwell ladder.

Choose from the Skymaster X-Trade range for dependable everyday professional use or the heavier-duty Skymaster Plus X range for additional safety, comfort and handling features.

Versatile Ladder Configurations

Depending on the model and size selected, Zarges combination ladders can be used as a:

  • Triple extension ladder

  • Double extension ladder

  • Single-section ladder

  • Three-section freestanding stepladder

  • Two-section freestanding stepladder

  • Stairwell stepladder

Stairwell mode is not available on the 12-rung and 14-rung models. Please check the specifications of your selected ladder before ordering.

Zarges Skymaster X-Trade

The Skymaster X-Trade is a versatile professional combination ladder designed for regular trade, maintenance and industrial use.

Features include:

  • Single-sided rigid safety locking bar

  • Spring-loaded locking pin

  • High-strength polyester anti-spread straps

  • Wide stabiliser bar

  • Square aluminium rungs

  • Secure rung locks

  • Slip-resistant replaceable end caps

X-Trade models are normally held in stock for fast UK mainland delivery, subject to availability.

Zarges Skymaster Plus X

The Skymaster Plus X is the upgraded, heavier-duty model within the Zarges combination ladder range. It includes additional features to improve comfort, positioning and handling.

Features include:

  • Double-sided safety locking bars

  • Spring-loaded locking pins

  • 80mm deep SafeStep treads on the upper section

  • Wall-running wheels on the upper ladder section

  • Roller wheel within the stabiliser bar

  • Integrated ladder inclination indicator

  • High-strength polyester anti-spread straps

Plus X models are generally supplied from central stock. Please check the selected option for the latest delivery lead time.

Professional Aluminium Construction

The rungs and stiles are manufactured from strong aluminium extrusions, providing a durable yet manageable ladder for professional use.

The wrap-around stile guides encompass the full rung area to support smooth adjustment and secure section alignment. The rung hooks and stile guides are bolted in place, allowing them to be replaced if required.

Safety and Stability

Zarges combination ladders include a range of features designed to improve safety and stability:

  • Wide base stabiliser

  • Secure rung hooks and rung locks

  • Rigid locking bar

  • High-strength anti-spread webbing

  • Replaceable two-component slip-resistant end caps
