  • Huge platform 1600mm x 700mm & massive 500kg SWL for absolute safety !

  • A special version of our standard Industrial Steel Mobile Steps with a much larger platform - 1600 x 700mm - and allowing access off one side through removable chains (now double height chains fitted as standard).  

  • Huge platform 700mm wide x 1600mm long.
  • Large punched steel treads 700mm wide x 200mm deep. Option for PVC covered.
  • Ideal for maintenance work on machinery with space for tools & materials, plus loading trucks & lorries etc.
  • Very Heavy-Duty with a massive 500kg SWL (78 stones!!!) and manufactured in an ISO9001 registered facility.  
  • Fully welded and assembled for instant use.
  • Braked by a Side Brake Lever as illustrated or on taller models by a Central Ascent Safety Bar between treads which blocks access to stairs whilst mobile (Side Lever optional on all sizes).
  • Large rubber tyred wheels fitted at the front and swivelling castors at the rear for easy manoeuvring.
  • Double Height Chains now fitted not single as in some images.
  • Coated in a tough and attractive Blue polyester powder coating for long-lasting protection. Optional Red, Yellow, Green, Grey colours on request.

Standard colour is:  Blue RAL5005.  Optional colours on special request at same price:  Red RAL3020, Green RAL6018, Yellow RAL1003 & Grey RAL7046 .  Other colours to order and extra cost.

Braking system:  2 & 3 Tread models are fitted with Side Braking Lever.    4 - 8 Tread models fitted with Central Arrestor Bar Brake between treads which blocks access to steps when mobile -  Side Lever optional on request for these sizes.

Many optional variations to the standard range are available, including...

  • PVC covered non-slip treads (ribbed rubber not available),
  • Extended platform,
  • Solid handrail on all 3 sides,
  • Double Chains on R/H side instead of L/H,
  • Double Chains on both sides and/or end,
  • Side braking lever on taller models,
  • Hinged gate or chain at platform entrance or base etc.
  • Static platform with flat plate base & no wheels.
